Brass Angle Valve

Brass angle valve is called "tri-angle valve" because its water inlet and outlet are perpendicular to each other at a 90-degree angle, instead of straight in and out like a ball valve. The main function of the compression brass angle valve is to switch the flow and control the flow pressure: 1. connect outlet flow to inlet, 2. adjust the flow pressure by turning the angle valve,  3. Turn off the flow in case of the faucet leaks, 4. Good appearance.

Considering the service life, it is best to choose stainless steel or all-copper brass angle valve, which can generally be used for more than 10 years; pay attention to distinguish the material of the brass angle valve, generally look in from the water inlet along the light, and there are small white spots on the wall. Zinc alloy, which is yellowish but rough, is made of iron, and yellow or yellowish-white and smooth is copper.

When buying brass angle valve, you must carefully check the workmanship details of the brass angle valve, such as whether the electroplating luster of the brass angle valve is smooth and shiny, whether the appearance is blistered or scratched, and the hand is smooth and flawless.

1. Choose a brass angle valve with the same specifications as the inner wire interface. If the inner wire connection is 4 points, then the selected brass angle valve must also have a 4 point interface.

2. Use the raw material tape to wrap the screw port of the brass angle valve. Pay attention when winding it. The winding direction of the raw material tape should be opposite to the thread direction of the brass angle valve. If the thread direction is installed in a clockwise direction, the raw tape should be wound in a counterclockwise direction.

3. The thread of the brass angle valve is installed in a clockwise direction, so the raw material tape is wound in a counterclockwise direction, and it can be cut by winding about 5-10 times.

4. Insert the brass angle valve wrapped with the raw material tape into the inner wire interface, and turn it clockwise until it is tightened. It can be screwed to the end of the brass angle valve thread. If the strength is not enough, you can use a wrench to bite the corners of the brass angle valve and continue to screw it to the end.

5. Turn on the switch to test whether the brass angle valve is leaking. If there is water leaking at the interface, you can remove it, wrap the raw material tape and repeat the above operation.
